Livonia Women’s 9 Hole Golf League

We have a tee-off luncheon at the end of April (April 28 at One Under banquet facility at Idylwyld), and we begin play the first Friday in May. We play for 17 weeks, with 2 possible rain make-ups early in September.
We are an individual player, flighted league. We currently have 4 flights (A, B, C and D). Golfers new to the league play the first 3 rounds in D flight to establish handicap and average. After we’ve played 3 rounds, we re-flight everyone, placing the new golfers within the flight determined by their handicap and average. You play within your flight. At the mid-point of the season (around July 4) we re-flight everyone once more.
Tee times start at 8:00. We have the whole course, so A flight starts on the front and B flight starts on the back, followed by C and D flights. We alternate sides of the course each week. Each Wednesday you will receive an email with your tee time for that week. Groups are randomly shuffled each week, so you don’t play with the same group every week.
This year our fees are as follows:
$50.00 registration fee
$20.00 luncheon – if you are attending
These are due by Friday, April 14. The registration fee holds your spot. Registrations are usually not accepted after this deadline.
Golf fees are $238.00 ($14 per week) due on or before April 28 – the date of our luncheon. We are able to walk the course; about one third of the ladies walk. Cart fees, if you choose to ride, are $8.00, payable each week.
At the end of the season, we have an awards luncheon. Prizes are awarded for low gross and low net in each flight. In addition, there are small monetary awards for birdies, chip-ins, and low putts in each flight.
This is a friendly, supportive group of women golfers. We look forward to meeting you and playing with you this season.
